Congratulations to Elyse Gordon who has been awarded the Faculty of Kinesiology Travel Award 2014 and the competitive CIHR Travel Award to present her thesis work entitled ‘Deficits in specific cognitive domains are related to gait performance”, at the 34th Annual Canadian Geriatrics Society Conference in Edmonton Alberta – April 2014. Only the highest ranked abstracts were invited for the presentations. Elyse has also been awarded the Travel Award from the Faculty of Health Science at the University of Western Ontario to attend and present her thesis work at the Annual American Geriatrics Society in Orlando, Florida – May 2014.
